W. Yendell at ?5 Glendirled Avenue, Waddington. The bride given away by her father, wore crinoline Style dress with bodice to match, white nylon over taffeta lace and pearl headdress and pearl-studded veil, and carried a bouquet of roses and white heather. Bridesmaids who wore spring green taffeta and ??? and primrose taffata with net and muffs to match, were Misses C. YENDELL (sister), A. Martin and C Sheppard (cousins of the bride). The attendant. Miss R Kees wore white taffeta and net and Master Kevin Keely, in naval uniform, was the page-boy. Mr E Cullins, cousin of the bidegroom was groomsman and Mr. B Stubbington, cousin of the bride, served as usher Choral service The Rev. R. R. P. Rigby officiated at choral service and in addition in the Bridal March and Wedding March, hymns included "Praise in the Lord,", "The Lord's My Shepherd" (Crimond,) and "Lead Us Heavenly Father" The organist was Mr. N Dodds. As the happy couple left the church a peal of wedding bells was rung. At the reception in Coton Parish Hall, where there were 76 guests it was announced that their honeymoon would be spent at Brixham, South Devon at Easter, and on returning they would live with the bride's parents.
