GOATHAM-ROBERTS At the Salem Baptist Church, St Peter's on Saturday, Mr. Herbert Frank Goatham, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Goatham of the Bungalow, Northdown-road, St Peter's was married to Miss Florence Harriett Roberts, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roberts, of Providence House, Granville-road, Broadstairs. Bride and bridegroom had for many years been members of the church, were children together at the Sunday School, and a large number of friends attended the wedding service, which was conducted by the Rev. J. T. Castle. The bride, who was dressed in a cream costume, was accompanied as bridesmaid by her sister, Miss Annie Roberts. Mr. Stanley Goatham acted as best man. The newly married couple afterwards left for Folkstone.
