  1. 1851 Northleach, Oxfordshire. All ages on the 1851 Census have a line through which is quite usual but in this case it is very difficult to read the ages of any of the family, but Charles is definitely 14 and John is 2, so and the other children are all single figures. Not possible to read William age, Jane's looks like 44.

    1871  East End, Northleach, Oxfordshire. Just John and Sarah with her on this Census, Charles was in East End, Northleach but was married and not in the same premises. Hannah was also only a couple of houses from Jane ???

    1871Thorncroft Lodge,  Leatherhead, Surrey. There was a a William COWLER aged 26 a Gardener born Derby as a lodger with Harriet and Samuel
    1881 Stable, Thorncroft Lodge, Leatherhead, Surrey. Sarah HAWKER down as sister, a visitor was with Harriet and Samuel. There was also a Harriet HEWSON aged 16 a Lodger, a Dressmaker born Middlesex, London with them.
    1891 No 1 Cottage, Thorncroft, Leatherhead, Surrey. There was a Frances WORLD a niece aged 21 a Housemaid Domestic born Northleach, Gloucestershire with the family on this Census. 
    1901 Church Road, Leatherhead, Surrey. There was a Boarder a James SMITHERS aged 33 a Postman born Godalming, Surrey with Harriet and Samuel

    Details of this family given to me by a Simon DEAN through GenesReunited on 14th October 2006. Simon's relationship to this family was through the eldest sister of William HAWKER the head person on this Chart.
