Ruth's husband died quite early leaving Ruth with four children under 14, just before the Great Depression. Frederick Jr had to quit high school and go to work to help support the family. Ruth went door to door selling Van Raalte hosiery. She met a widower, Vernon LINCOLN....he was very brave to take on four kids at that time.

1920 Akron Ward 3, Summit, Ohio, USA
1930 Akron,, District 48 Summit, Ohio, USA. We have Mildred marrying a TRIPLETT. I have found a Mildred as the wife of an Artie S TRIPLETT in Akron, Summit Ohio on this census. The only problem is that she is down as being 21 whereas she should be 24 and down as being born in Ohio, not New York as previous Censuses, however I do believe, because of the location, it is the correct Mildred. She is down as first marriage at the age of 21 whereas her husband Artie first marriage is down as also being at the age of 21 but he is 34, so all the children listed come from a first marriage of Artie. These are Mary E aged 14, Vera M aged 12 Elma J aged 11 all born West Virginia, USA and then Lucille M aged 9 born Ohio, USA.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
