Emma HOLNESS is down as having had four children all of whom are still living. Father - Alfred HOLNESS - Carrier - deceased 1897 The witness at this wedding is interesting. Two Thomas Morris TERRY’s appear in our charts, one the brother of our Grandfather was married in the same year in Bermondsey, London where he lived at that time and because he was a similar age to the couple below is the most likely of the two. The other was our Grandfather’s Great Uncle who was still alive in 1897 but was 73 years old, but did live in Ramsgate. It could of course be another Thomas Morris TERRY. There was no close relationship between Emma Maria SETTERFIELD and the TERRY family as far as we know in 1897, the connection being nearly 100 years previous from the JULL family.
