1935 120 Water Street West, Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, Canada. William Henry HUNT born Newfoundland, aged 39 Motor Mechanic Garage. Maud Winnifred aged 40 born London, Homemaker, Duncan Aquilla aged 13 born Newfoundland, St School, Walter Edward aged 13 born Newfoundland, at School, Raymond William aged 6 born Newfoundland Not at School, Lawrence James aged 3 born Newfoundland, Not at School. We visited Canada in 2001 and at that time we met Raymond and Walter, in fact we stayed with Walter. Since that time we have learned that Walter and Raymond have died, leaving at this time only Lawrence of my wife's first cousin's in Newfoundland. I heard from Doreen QUINN the daughter of Duncan Aquilla HUNT above died on 22nd September 1925 that Lawrence died on 12th September 2025 as shown above. Obituary for Walter Edward HUNT HUNT, Walter E. - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Tuesday, February 24, 2004, Walter E. Hunt of Harbour Grace, age 82 years. Predeceased by wife Anita; parents: William and Maude; brothers: Duncan and Raymond. Leaving to mourn one daughter: Jean Bickham, Harbour Grace; one brother: Lawrence (Agnes), Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Marie Hunt and June Hunt, both of Harbour Grace; special nephew: Robert Hunt, Harbour Grace; special nieces: Doreen, Lois, Barbara, Michelle and Kristina; nephew: Steven; special little dog Trixie; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace and from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 26. at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Walter E. Hunt Memorial Fund. Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Jean Bickham of Harbour Grace, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents: Walter E. and Anita Hunt, Henley and Alice Bickham. Leaving to mourn, a large circle of family and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday, March 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Interment in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
