  1. 1841 Census - St Ives, Huntingdonshire
1851 Census - Sheepmarket, Robin Hood Yard, St Ives, Huntingdonshire. David on the 1841 Census is down as John David on this Census.
1861 Census - Caters Yard, St John, Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire. I think the marriage details are correct, but on the 1861 Census Sarah Jane is down as Jane, but marriage was in North Witchford district which covers Sarah/Jane's birth place Chatteris. Children on this Census - Alfred 5 born Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, Edward 3 born Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire and Jane 1 born Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire.
1880; Census Place: Winnebago, Houston, Minnesota; Roll: T9_623; Family History Film: 1254623; Page: 320.4000; Enumeration District: 110; Image: 0650. (Alfred keeps appearing as Alford for some reason, but I am certain it is the correct family) There is a Sarah J STEARNS aged 20 born England, down as daughter with the family, I would think this is the Jane we have above. Having found her on the BMD she was born Sarah Jane INGLETT, born September quarter 1859 Huntingdon district, Huntingdonshire. So I think we have now proved conclusively that this is the correct family. She is down as Jane on the 1861 Census. Next door to this family is an Alford INGLETT (this spelling again, but I think it should be Alfred) born 1856 (aged 24) in England, so I think it is the eldest son above, (see Note 10) There was a son an Edward STEARNS, aged 1 born Minnesota, USA
1900; US Census Place: Winnebago, Houston, Minnesota; Roll: T623 765; Page: 1B; Enumeration District: 78. Alfred and Sarah are with their son Cecil on this Census. Shows the month and year of birth on this Census. Also shows year of immigration to the US
1910; Census Place: Winnebago, Houston, Minnesota; Roll: T624_706; Page: 3B; Enumeration District: 76; Image: 820.
Cannot find family on the US 1870 Census.
Cannot find any emigration details at present.
IGI for exact birth and death date.
  2. 1861 Census - Caters Yard, St John, Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire.
Also shows year of immigration to the US
  3. 1861 Census - Caters Yard, St John, Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire.
1880; Census Place: Winnebago, Houston, Minnesota; Roll: T9_623; Family History Film: 1254623; Page: 320.4000; Enumeration District: 110; Image: 0650.
Minnesota death index. There is a John Alfred INGLETT born 25th February 1893 and died 24th August 1973 in Rock, Minnesota. His mothers maiden name is down as FISCHEL, so very near to what I have above. However I cannot find this family after the 1880 Census in Minnesota, US.
IGI Marriage for Alfred, gives us the maiden name of Almira and the date.
  4. 1861 Census - Caters Yard, St John, Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire.
1880; Census Place: New Albin, Allamakee, Iowa; Roll: T9_325; Family History Film: 1254325; Page: 312.2000; Enumeration District: 6; Image: 0629. This find makes it appear the Edward married twice, I have added details for this marriage and they had one child. They were living with Ella's mother Almira who was head of household, aged 68, born Massachusetts. Edward is down as son in law. There was a sister of Ella with the family a Sylvia ELLIS and her husband Henry ELLIS
1900; Census Place: Canton, Fillmore, Minnesota; Roll: T623 763; Page: 15A; Enumeration District: 19. Family down as INGLET on this Census. Lots of additional children on this Census. Birth date of October 1857 in England finally convinces me that I have the right Edward and family although various IGI details had also confirmed it.
1910; Census Place: Canton, Fillmore, Minnesota; Roll: T624_697; Page: 16A; Enumeration District: 19; Image: 726. family down as INGELETT on this Census
1920; Census Place: Canton, Fillmore, Minnesota; Roll: T625_830; Page: 3B; Enumeration District: 17; Image: 90. I think looking at this Census the second Lloyd was really called Floyd. Family down as Englett on this Census.
1930; Census Place: Canton, Fillmore, Minnesota; Roll: 1086; Page: 7B; Enumeration District: 6; Image: 561.0. This ties up with this Edward, born 1858, in England, but have at present not found on any other Census. He was 73 and a Farmer. At present have only search on Minnesota, so it is likely that he was in another state. There is a George INGLETT with him, son aged 27 born Minnesota, USA. The next entry is for a Lloyd INGLETT, aged 35 with a wife Mary and two children Harold 8 and Lilian 2 and a 1/12, I would also think this was a son of Edward. Now found on 1910 Census with wife and children, will add a Chart for this family.
IGI Death details, also gives birth date and place and parents which all are correct for this Edward. All submitted by a member of the LDS Church, not an actual recording of details.
  5. 1861 Census - Caters Yard, St John, Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire. Children on this Census - Alfred 5 born Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, Edward 3 born Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire and Jane 1 born Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire.

1900; Census Place: Two Inlets, Becker, Minnesota; Roll: T623 756; Page: 7B; Enumeration District: 18. The birth date of June 1859 would possible tie up with September quarter 1859 it depends when Sarah was registered.
  6. 1880; Census Place: Winnebago, Houston, Minnesota; Roll: T9_623; Family History Film: 1254623; Page: 320.4000; Enumeration District: 110; Image: 0650. The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
