There was a Lodger a John FRENCH aged 20 an Ag Lab born Nash Buckinghamshire. 1881 Hillesden, Buckinghamshire. With the family is a Thomas JEFFS down as Father-in-Law aged 69, so ties up with Thomas JEFFS, William's father but then should be Father. I can find no marriage on the BMD for a William JEFFS around 1887 (age of eldest daughter) However there is on the 1881 an Eliza Theodora ROBERTS born 1866 in Syresham, Northamptonshire. She is down as daughter under a John WHITE (unmarried) aged 62 an Agricultural Labourer born Whitfield, Northamptonshire.
