    1871 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex. Samuel was Head on this Census. The following were with him, see JIGGINS Chart 0500, his uncle Samuel, aged 47, his aunt Sarah aged 43 and his Grandmother aged 78

  2. 1861 Census - Chatham Green, Great Waltham, Essex. The parents of Mary Ann CLARK were Charles CLARK, aged 50 an Agricultural Labourer born Great Waltham, Essex and Susannah CLARK aged 45 also born Great Waltham, Essex. As well as Mary the other children all born in Great Waltham were Alfred aged 12, Walter aged 5 and Lydia aged 2.

    1911 Faulkbourne, Witham, Essex. Mary is down as having been married 40 years and having had 10 children 9 of whom survive and 1 of who who has died at the date of this Census.

    1911 33 Herbert Rd, Ilford, Essex, Emily JIGGINS was with the family as a Boarder but I believe she was the sister of Eliza PRIOR née JIGGINS, so a new chart needed. She is down as having been married 16 years and having had 3 children all of whom survive at the date of this Census. Lily aged 13 born Faulkbourne, Essex, Doris aged 8 born Manor Park, Essex and Edith aged 6 born Manor Park, Essex. Also with the family is an Edith COOK aged 2 Single a Laundress born Wethersfield, Essex.
  4. 1881 Census - Faulkbourne, Essex
    Walter emigrated to Canada and married Emily (surname not known). Walter died January 17, 1975 in Deleau Manitoba. They had two children Edith and Ed. Edith and Ed never married. Edith passed away in Manitoba, Canada but I don t have date of birth or date of death. Ed still lives on the family ranch.

    On 25th March 2014 Carolyn Williamson, Grandaughter of Arthur Henry Jiggins (see note 10) wrote:
    Alfred and Emily had two children: William, Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada; and Doris (Mrs. F. Dalby), Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. William had three children: Ken, Donna and Norma and eight grandchildren. It is not known if Doris had children
