  1. 1891 Census - Binscombe?, Godalming, Surrey
  2. 1901 Census - Binscombe?, Godalming, Surrey. There was a Boarder an Alfred GODDARD, aged 53 a widower, a Carrier? on Farm, born Compton, Surrey
  3. 1881 Census - Manor Road, Godalming, Surrey.
  4. 1861 Census - Mount Pleasant, Witchampton, Dorset (down as Himber on the Ancestry.com search)
  5. IGI Baptism
  6. 1871 Census - Mount Pleasant, Witchampton, Dorset
  7. 1881 Census - Mount Pleasant, Witchampton, Dorset
  8. IGI Baptism - parents given as Samuel and Sarah KIMBER. There are other baptisms with Samuel and Sarah as parents in Critchell-Moore - Stephen, 31st October 1815, John 9th December 1821. The possible marriage for Samuel and Sarah is 22nd May 1804 in Long Critchell, Dorst but this appears a little early for the baptism of the children, but Long Critchell might be another parish and there might be more children. The maiden name of Sarah was BENNETT. It says on the marriage details that Samuel was born 1780 in Long Critchell, Dorset and the same for Sarah BENNETT. So taking this further there is a baptism for a Susannah KIMBER on the 14th May 1809 in Long Critchell, Dorset with Samuel and Sarah as parents. She is the only baptism for a KIMBER in Long Critchell.
  9. 1851 Census - Witchampton, Dorset - This gives us three additional children. (Again as Himber on the Ancestry.com search). With the family was Elizabeth MONK, mother-in-law, a widow, aged 68 a Pauper of Ag Lab wife, born Witchampton, Dorset
  10. IGI Baptism - parents given as John and Elizabeth MONK. There are three other baptisms with John and Elizabeth as parents in Critchell-Moore. Joseph 10th May 1812, Ann 21st May 1815 and George 7th December 1817.
  11. 1841 Census - Witchampton, Dorset. It would appear that the marriage in the June quarter of 1841 is correct and as this was in June this would be correct. On the 1841 Robert and Hannah are married. The appear to be living with Hannah's parents John (down as being 55 but ages are round up and down on this Census) born Dorset and an Ag Lab and Elizabeth also 55, born Dorset. Other children were Charles 15 J Tailor and Sarah 15 (again remember ages are rounded up and down)
  12. 1891 Census - 30 Witchampton, Witchampton, Dorset: Children - Sydney 15 Bakers Assistant, Ada 11 Scholar, Annie 9 Scholar, Alice 6 Scholar and Rose 5 Scholar, all born Witchampton, Dorset.
  13. 1891 Census - Manswood, Moore Critchell, Dorset. Children - Arthur 3 and Rhoda 2 both born Critchell, Dorset, there was a Harry HISCOCK, brother-in-law, aged 28 a Bricklayers Labourer, born Critchell, Dorset with the family
  14. 1891 Census - Manswood, Moore Critchell, Dorset. Children - George 16 born Witchampton, Dorset, Emily 13 born Witchampton, Dorset, Ellen 8 born Critchell, Dorset, Charles 3 born Critchell, Dorset. There was a lodger a Tom KEEPING, aged 18 a Labourer, born Holt, Dorset.
  15. 1881 Census - Malt House, Lower Street, Witchampton, Dorset
  16. 1901 Census - Witchampton, Dorset
  17. 1861 Census - Old Fullers Arms Inn, Church Street, Wimbourne Minster, Dorset. George and John were lodgers with James PEARCE the Landlord. The person before George and John is a William MARTIN aged 27 a Corporal Scots Fusiliers Guard Yeomanry. The George and John and the two men folling are down as Recruits so I assume they were recruits for the Scots Fusiliers Guard Yeomanry and that is how I have shown them above. I cannot find George and John after this on the Census returns.
  18. 1881 Census - Manswood, Moore Critchell, Dorset
  19. 1901 Census - Moore Critchell, Dorset
  20. 1901 Census - Moore Critchell, Dorset

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
