I received the following from Cynthia KIMPTON on 20th June 2007. This is part of the Will of Esther KIMPTON: ...I give and bequeath all my wearing apparel and linen to my Sister Eliza KIDD...I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever Unto my Trustee Upon trust that my Trustee shall sell call in and convert into money the same or such part thereof as shall not consist of money and shall with and out of the monies so arising and with and out of my read money pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the legacy bequeathed by this my Will...And shall pay and divide the residue of such moneys equally between such of my Brother John JEEPS my said sister Eliza KIDD and my late Husband’s nieces Ann BEARPARK, Mary Ann MANN and Fanny Ann KIMPTON (we do not know where Ann BEARPARK fits in at the present time)
  5. 1861 Buckingham Place, Brighton, Sussex
1871 Beer House "Sun" High Street, Warboys, Huntingdonshire. Fanny is down as head of household and as a widow on the 1871 census, her daughter Sarah is with her, but has nothing next to her name to indicate if she is a widow of married but her husband is not with her. There are three of her children with her.
    1901 Huntingdon Road, Pidley, Huntingdonshire
  6. The information given to us about this family indicated there was another son who had a child William Arthur KIMPTON. I hope to find more information about this but for the present I have put on a Chart 0601 to show the correct line. I have an idea that there was even another generation between William and William Arthur. I have found a William KIMPTON, born in 1843, see Note 1 above, in March, Cambridgeshire, with a son William KIMPTON, born 1868 in Somersham, this ties in with what we require, but as I say a further generation to fit in.

1901 Huntingdon Road, Pidley, Huntingdonshire as widower. Living with Robert is daughter May Ann MANN (55) married
  9. 1841 High Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire. With the family was a John KIMPTON, aged 80, an Ag Lab, I would think the father of William. There was also an Ann NEWLING aged 6 with this family.
1851 Bank Houses, Somersham, Huntingdonshire (Daniel and Esther do not appear to have any children, Esther's name and age vary from Census to Census and I thought that Daniel had remarried, but as the later Censuses go back to calling her Esther I do not think this is the case. I have listed all the variants for Esther, as you can see there are three different names a nine years variance in her age and two birth places.
    1861 Church Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire
    1871 Main Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire

1861 Main Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire, Frederick and Ann were living between William KEMPTON at the "The Rising Sun" and Robert KEMPTON, so I think confirming that I have the right marriage. On the 1861 their surname is spelt PEAKES, whereas on the BMD is is PEAKS. Also Frederick is down as Frederic without the K. No children on this Census.
1881 "King William Fourth", High Street, Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. Ann is down as a widow and has a son William, aged 15 a Carpenters Apprentice born Chatteris, Cambridgeshire.. There were four lodgers with Ann and her son.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
