1851 Census - Plains of Waterloo, Ramsgate, Kent 1871 Census - Providence Tavern, 31 Queen Street, Ramsgate, Kent. With the family was Emma KNIGHT, sister, aged 22 a Barmaid, born Ramsgate, Kent, an Edith M Chapman, niece, aged 3 born Ramsgate, Kent. There was also a R William, no employment a lodger, aged 25 born Edinburgh, Scotland 1881 Census - Spread Eagle, 153 High Street, Ramsgate, Kent. With the family was Annie Louisa Chapman, aged 17 niece, born Ramsgate, Kent. There was also a William Hunt a Potman aged 21 born Brenchley, Kent with the family. 1841 Census - Manstone, Thanet St Lawrence, Kent. Harriet on the 1851 but Mary on the 1841. Could be different children as Mary on the 1841 is down as only being 9 so that would make 1832 birth. I would expect Harriet to be on the 1841 Census, which is why at the present time I have left as one child. 1851 Census - Manstone, Thanet St Lawrence, Kent 1861 Lord of the Manor, St Lawrence, Kent. 1871 Census - Providence Tavern, 31 Queen Street, Ramsgate, Kent. Mary was with her daughter Harriet and her family. 1851 Census - Kent Place, Ramsgate, Kent 1861 Census - 10 Leopold Place, Ramsgate, Kent. John's father was a Richard, aged 53 a Mason, born Ramsgate, Kent his mother was Mary W aged 55 born Ramsgate, Kent and John had a brother Edward who was 18 a Shipwright also born Ramsgate, Kent 1871 Census - 1 Cavendish Place, Ramsgate, Kent. Writing very difficult to read on this Census, but their was a Boarder, and a niece. The niece was 7 and born in Sandgate, Kent. She was a Rose (and the surname cannot be read but looks like MEACY 1881 Census - Admiral Napier Inn, Ramsgate, Kent. William AVERY, Brother in Law was the Barman, aged 37 born Ramsgate, Kent and also with the family was Rose LEARY, aged 16 born Sandigate, Kent and John LEARY, aged 12 also born Sandigate, Kent 1861 Census - 1 Chatham Place, Ramsgate, Kent. Sarah was a Servant to a Solicitor. There were nine children and six servants plus his wife, so too long to list here. 1871 Census - 1 Cavendish Place, Ramsgate, Kent. Writing very difficult to read on this Census, but their was a Boarder, and a niece. The niece was 7 and born in Sandgate, Kent. She was a Rose (and the surname cannot be read but looks like MEACY 1881 Census - Admiral Napier Inn, Ramsgate, Kent. William AVERY, Brother in Law was the Barman, aged 37 born Ramsgate, Kent and also with the family was Rose LEARY, aged 16 born Sandigate, Kent and John LEARY, aged 12 also born Sandigate, Kent 1881 Census - Spread Eagle, 153 High Street, Ramsgate, Kent. With the family was Annie Louisa Chapman, aged 17 niece, born Ramsgate, Kent. There was also a William Hunt a Potman aged 21 born Brenchley, Kent with the family. 1891 Census - The Bull Inn, High Street, Eastry, Kent. John and Harriett had two children on this Census - Annie M, aged 4 and William K aged 3 both born in Eastry, Kent. a Maria BUSHELL mother aged 61 a widow born Brompton, Kent. a visitor a William F FISHER aged 17, born Ramsgate, Kent,( I wonder if he was a son of William and Emma FISHER née KNIGHT on KNIGHT Chart 0500. I cannot find this family after 1881 Census). There was a lodger a James CONSTANT, born Walmer, Kent and a Servant a Mary Rye born Stourmouth, Kent 1901 Census - Spread Eagle, 153 High Street, Ramsgate, Kent. Two children both born Eastry, Annie M 14 and William K 13. There was also a William KNIGHT cousin aged 25 a Carpenter born Ramsgate, Kent 1871 Census - Providence Tavern, 31 Queen Street, Ramsgate, Kent. 1891 Census - Spread Eagle, 153 High Street, Ramsgate, Kent. William and Zillah had a servant and a potman 1901 Census - Eythorne Villa Road, Ramsgate, Kent. 1911 Eythorne Villa Cannon Road Ramsgate
