  1. 1851 Stonea Drove, March Cambridgeshire. There was a lodger a William PICKERY? aged 19 an Ag Labourer born Harcett?, Huntingdonshire
    1861 Lower End, Woodwalton, Huntingdonshire
1871 Howe, Stowe, Northamptonshire. There was a Boarder, a William PAYNE aged 31 a Ag Lab born Nash?, Buckinghamshire
1881 Crisps Farm, Church Brampton, Northamptonshire
    1891 The Elms, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
    1901 Bugbrooke Road, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
1911 Census - Kislingbury Northamptonshire, his wife Sarah was not with him, but his daughter Ada was, which is correct as all of the other children were married by this time, but there was also a Fanny LEEDEN aged  30 and an Emma Elizabeth LEEDEN aged 8. This give a small problem as I think Fanny is the wife of William as is the daughter as they show correctly as this age on LEEDEN Chart 0401 but I have already found them on the 1911 without William the husband.
  2. 1881 Crisps Farm, Church Brampton, Northamptonshire
    1891 The Elms, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
    1901 Bugbrooke Road, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
  3. 1881 Crisps Farm, Church Brampton, Northamptonshire
1891 "The Rookery " Church Street, Brixworth, Northamptonshire. A servant to a Charles Wilson CARDEN aged 71 a Retired Army Officer born Barmane, Tipperarey, Ireland and his family.
    1901 Back Lane, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
  4. 1881 Crisps Farm, Church Brampton, Northamptonshire
1901 Back Lane, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire. I was not sure about this as Emma Ann is down as Annie E born Dunton, Northamptonshire, but as there are three "LEEDEN2 families living next door to each other in Back Lane, Kislingbury, I am sure it is the correct one, having found the marriage on the BMD. They have a son Arthur J aged 4 born Kislingbury, Northamptonshire which ties up with the marriage on the BMD.
1911 Census - Beech Lane Kislingbury Northampton
  5. 1881 Crisps Farm, Church Brampton, Northamptonshire
    1901 Back Lane, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
  6. 1881 Crisps Farm, Church Brampton, Northamptonshire
    1891 The Elms, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
1901 Mill Lane, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire. There was an Annie E COLLINS, aged 16 sister, a Boot Heel Maker born Kislingbury with the family.
  7. 1891 The Elms, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
    1901 Bugbrooke Road, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
1911 Census - Park Lane Harpole Northamptonshire
On the BMD there is a William L J LEEDEN born September quarter 1911 Brixworth district, Northamptonshire with a BILLINGHAM as the mothers maiden name.
  8. 1901 Bugbrooke Road, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.
    1911 Census - Kislingbury Northamptonshire
On the BMD there is a Edith E JEFFS born June quarter 1913 Northampton district, Northamptonshire, with a LEEDEN as the mothers maiden name.
    Information for Richard JEFFS
1901 High Street, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire. Father Samuel JEFFS aged 42, Ironstone Miner, Mother Annie S aged 36 both born Kislingbury, Northamptonshire.

Note there are many variations of the spelling of LEEDEN, ie LEADEN, LEEDING, LEADING, LEEDON, LEADON, LEEDER, LEADER  etc etc. I have called all the Charts LEEDEN and have shown the alternative spelling in (...) before the LEEDEN spelling. This is to keep conformity and ease of finding the charts. I think in several cases the name changed and has been kept with the alternative until the present day.

I have now found started find these families on 1911 Census on FindMyPast, as it is a family which is some way from our own and the cost of looking at all the families we are interested in would make the exercise a very costly I have only found the family, which gives the people living in the household and the district they are living, not the actual address, also relationships and occupations are still not known. There is a small problem with this particular family above as there appears to be only James and his daughter Ada which could be correct if his wife Sarah had died between 1901 and 1911, however there is also a Fanny LEEDEN and an Emma Elizabeth LEEDEN with them who I think  Fanny is the wife of the eldest child William and Emma is her daughter, but they already appear as Fanny (without her husband) and with a son William and also Emma on another Census return.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
