    1861 Census - Shipley, Sussex.  There was an Ambrose, COOPER aged 28 an Agricultural Labourer, born Ashington, Sussex with the family.
    1871 Census - Horsham Workhouse, North Horsham, Sussex. 
    1881 Census - Dragon? Green, Shipley, Sussex. Noah's daughter Elizabeth has married a William VENN aged 34 a General Labourer, born Shipley, Sussex and Noah was living with them. He is down as a Widower, aged 58 an Agricultural Labourer, born Rudgwick, Sussex.

Other servants were George STONER (18) Ag Lab Carter born Cowfold, Sussex, William EDWARDS (17) Ag Lab Carter born West Grinstead, Sussex and Abraham RANDAL (14) Under Ag Lab Carter born Shipley, Sussex,

  5. 1861 Census - Shipley, Sussex.  There was an Ambrose, COOPER aged 28 an Agricultural Labourer, born Ashington, Sussex with the family.
    1871 Census - 3 New Dragon Green, Shipley, Sussex
    1881 Dragon? Green, Shipley, Sussex. Living with them was Elizabeth's father, Noah LONGHURST
    1891 Census - New House Farm (Bar)?, West Grinstead, Sussex (there is a ditto for the address, at the top of the page is New House Farm, the next address has Bar and then the third address [the one for the VENN's] just has a ditto). There is a Caroline LINFIELD who appears as though she is down with this family, although the address line has another ditto. She is down as Mother which is why I think she has been included with this family, but unless William VENN's mother married again to a LINFIELD it is not part of this family. I therefore do not think she was really part of his family.
    1901 Census - Bar Lane, West Grinstead, Sussex
    1911 Bar Lane Bar Road West Grinstead Horsham Sussex. With the family was Basil FRANCIS aged 7 Grandson, born Brighton, Sussex, Thomas BOURNE aged 27 a Boarder born Nuthurst, Sussex a Farm Labourer, Maurice CANNON a Boarder born 1864 Billingshurst, Sussex a Far Labourer, Jennie FRANCES born 1875 daughter born 1875 Shipley, Sussex and Evelyn FRANCIS aged 5 Granddaughter born Upper Holloway, London. Elizabeth is down as having been married 40 years and having had 15 children 9 survive and 6 had died a the date of this Census.
