  6. Searching on the BMD for the births of the above children I found a Lavender Dring LONGLAND born in Hatfield area which is where some of the other children above were registered. There is a gap in 1884 and I think this is one of the above family as the name DRING is used. unfortunately he/she died . I searched on the 1891 Census in case there was another LONGLAND family and only one appear in the Harpenden area and they did not come from Huntingdon area so it would be unlikely that they would have picked up the DRING name.

    1911 5 Bartlett's Cottages, Bells Hill, Barnet, Middlesex. Children Gladys Irene aged 2 and Nelly Edith aged 3 months both born High Barnet, Hertfordshire.

    1911 The Old Crown, 51 Chase Side, Southgate, Edmonton, Middlesex. Frederick was a servant a Butcher to a Jack J COLLINS aged 61 a Butcher born Barnet, Hertfordshire and his wife Louise M aged 61 a Butcher born Bath, Somerset. There were four children with them and another three servants.
