1901 3 Arnold Street, Myton, Kingston upon Hull Yorkshire. (I think I have found William, he is 22 and born in Gravesend. On the 1911 his wife comes from Hull and his occupation is similar so I am certain that at least the person on the 1911 is the same person, he is down as Will) He is with a Elsie TINLING aged 32 a Schoolmistress born Hayton, Cumberland and a Mrs DOWSE a widow aged 78 born Fishcroft, Lincolnshire, there was a servant an Amy HARRIS aged 19 a General Servant Domestic born Derby, Derbyshire.
1906 Marriage - I think this is the correct marriage, as it is to a Gertrude and it is in Beverley, they named their son born in 1910 Vivian Kenneth Beverley MANN (Beverley is only a few miles from Hull which where Gertrude is down as being born on the 1911 Census)
1911 84 Inchmery Road, Catford S.E William is down as being married 4 years and they have a son Vivian Kenneth Beverley MANN aged 1 born Catford, London S.E.  (he is down as being born in the March quarter 1910 Lewisham district, London
I think the following two children with the name MANN and with the name ROBINSON as the mothers maiden name, because they have three christian name and are in the correct area are likely to be children of this couple
Kathleen L R Mann December quarter 1911 Fulham district London
William R G Mann June quarter 1914 Richmond district, Surrey
  11. 1891 28 Windmill Street, Milton, Kent. Living with the family was Mary BARNARD mother-in--law. There were several KENWARD children and several MANN stepchildren.. RG12; Piece: 645; Folio 131; Page 18; GSU roll: 6095755.
1901 28 Ladbroke Road, Reigate, Surrey. Harold is head of household and only occupant, he appears on Ancestry.com at present as WANN but looking at it, it is definitely MANN. born in Gravesend.
This is what we have before for the 1901 Census - (1901 Not found, no obvious marriage or death. There was a Harold MANN born about the right time who went from Glasgow to New York, USA on the "CIRCASSIA" arriving 13 November 1894. Name, age and date of arrival all fit, not sure about place of departure! I thought perhaps he went with William, but could find no entry for him.)
1911 51 Darnley Road, Gravesend, Kent. Harold is with his mother on this Census, so I do not think the Harold MANN my sister found arriving in New York in 1894 is the correct Harold or he might have returned home when his step-father died to be with his mother.
  12. 1871 90 Wellington Street, Milton, Gravesend, Kent. RG10; Piece: 890; Folio: 119; Page: 46; GSU roll: 823482.
1881 9 Prospect Grove, Milton-in-Gravesend, Kent. Living with them was Mary SHEPHARD (74) Henry's Mother-in-law widow, Gardeners wife, born
Holsham, Surrey. A Lodger was Clarissa J COVE (24) "Late housekeeper in a Hotel" crossed through, born Gravesend, Kent. RG11; Piece: 873; Folio: 45; Page: 14; Line: ; GSU roll: 1341207
1891 28 Windmill Street, Milton, Kent. Living with the family was Mary BARNARD mother-in--law. There were several KENWARD children and several MANN stepchildren.. RG12; Piece: 645; Folio 131; Page 18; GSU roll: 6095755.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
