This Chart shows the information we had for this family, with a Mary Ann MARSHALL as the child of Charles MARSHALL, I assume that this is because on the marriage Certificate the father is down as a Charles Marshall. There is some doubt on the information we have as there are two Charles MARSHALL's born around the same period in Warboys. I have search extensively on the 1871 and 1881 Census for a Charles Marshall, born Warboys with a daughter Mary Ann born in 1869 without success. On Marshall 0605 the eldest child is a Mary Ann MARSHALL and she is born in 1869, but her father is George, but I think this is the possible father of the child on this Chart. I have, on another one of my charts, put a chart below the notes to show what I believe is a likely alternative to our findings above. Hopefully someone can give us the correct answer to the problem

  1. 1841 Little End, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
    1851 High Street, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
    1861 Dead Lane, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
1871 Warboys Road, Pidley cum Fenton Huntingdonshire. Charles, Elizabeth and Harriet are living with Elizabeth's parents, a William WALKER, aged 60 an Ag Lab born Pidley and his wife Sarah, aged 55 also born Pidley, they have another daughter with them a Harriet WALKER single aged 28 born Fenton, Huntingdonshire
1881 White Fen, Whittlesey, Huntingdonshire. Another strange thing on this Census George is down as aged 8 and born in Pidley and James is down as aged 8 and born in Whittlesey. This might sort itself out on a later Census. There was a lodger, a Henry Bates aged 19/79 (job to tell) born Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire
1891 Old Fen, Ramsey, Huntingdonshire. James's aged does not show on this Census, but they are still down as being born in different place. Charles is down as being born in 1845 on this Census where on the previous two he has shown as being born in 1843 which is near enough to the 1842 we have. It is definitely the same family. Harry does not appear on this Census.
1901 Ramsey Heights, Ramsey, Huntingdonshire. Joseph OLIVER and his family are living with Charles and family on this Census (see Note 9)
This Chart shows the information I believe to be correct for Charles. We were given the original information which is shown in the first chart above. This chart shows my finding on the various Censuses and on the BMD.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
