Also living with them was a James  CLARK (59) Labourer born Albury, Surrey and his wife Emma (47) born Epsom, Surrey. There were three families of lodgers with them James MILES (30) Labourer, Surrey, Caroline GRANTHAM (40) No occupation born Capel, Surrey and her children Henry (11)  born Capel, born Dorking Surrey and Mary A (4) born Dorking Surrey and Harriet LIFFORD  (41) Pauper born Hampshire and her children Daniel P (13) Scholar and Harriet E (12) both  born Dorking, Surrey
    1881 Falkland Hill, Dorking Surrey as Esther. Living with them was brother Edward, his wife and family Mother Rebecca's brother John and his family are still with the family
    1901 13 Church Gardens, Dorking, Surrey as Esther. Living with her was her brother William James and nieces Lizzie CLARK (20) Cook Domestic and Alma CLARK (15) Housemaid Domestic both born Dorking, Surrey

    1911 48 Rebbeck Road, Pokesdown, Bournmouth, Hampshire. Esther Harriett is down as being 38 and been married 7 years and having had 3 children 2 survive and 1 had died at the date of this Census. She is down as being born in Dorking, Surrey. 
    Note
    There is an Esther Harriet CLARK who married in Wimbourne Dorset in 1903 which I have shown on chart above, On the marriage certificate it shows her address as Pokesdown which is where her sister Mary Jane was living and then on the 1911 Census she is shown as being born in Dorking, Surrey, So I do feel this is the correct person although christian name the other way round to that shown on BMD and Baptism. However there is another problem which is her age she give this at marriage as 29 and on the 1911 Census as  38 neither of which tie up with her birth date, as her husband was quite a bit younger than her and it was quite usual in those case it make yourself younger than you actually were again I feel that this must be the right perdon. Accordingly I have added details for her and an ongoing chart.

    Information for Catherine Gladys M ELKINS
    1911 Belchalwell, Blandford, Dorset. Father George ELKINS aged 40 a Farm Labourer bonr Sturminster Common, Dorset. Mother Eva Laura aged 36 down as having been married 10 years and having had 4 children 3 usrvive and 1 had died at the date of this Cenus. she was born n Belchalwell, Dorset. Children George William aged 9 born Sturminst Newton, Dorset, Arthu Jorave aged 6 born sturminster Newton, Dorset and then Catherine.
  4. 1911 48 Rebbeck Road, Pokesdown, Bournmouth, Hampshire.
