Flora was a widow on this Census. (Flora is down as having four children, all living, so we have a problem with Herbert on the 1891 Census, perhaps they put him down as Herbert but he was finally called Sydney as this gave as five children and she only had four. (will look into this further). Have now found baptism for Herbert Sydney MATTHEWS so I think that this proves that Herbert and Sydney were one and the same person.
