    Diana Marion Hartwick (McWhinnie) 50, born January 23, 1944, died June 1, 1994 .
    Daughter of Donald Smith McWhinnie, and Marion Marshall McWhinnie.
    Diana was born in Niskayuna, NY. She moved to Ballston Lake as a child and graduated from Burnt Hill-Ballston Lake High School in 1962.
    She had been employed at the state Department of Environmental Conservation as a senior clerk in the contract department.
    Diana was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church in Burnt Hills.
    She was in the United States Army from June 29, 1963 to September 23, 1964. Diana was stationed at Fort Hood, TX.
    Survivors include two sons, David M. Tallman of Rotterdam, and Army SSG Donald M. Tallman of Schenectady; a daughter Deborah M. Tallman of Clifton Park;, a brother, Paul McWhinnie of Edinburg; and 7 grandchildren.
    The service was held at 11:00 on Friday, June 3, 1994 in the Daly Funeral Home.
    Diana is buried in Memory's Garden in Colonie.
    Contributions were made to Hospice of Schenectady.
