    1861 Census - London Street, Basingstoke, Hampshire.  James had three children on the Census. A new Chart needed. Alice 8, Jane 7 and Gilbert 5, all Scholars and all born in Basingstoke. They had two servants, Charlotte MAY aged 26 and Jemima POPE aged 16. I would think the children were from his first wife Amelia.
