Charles his brother was with him, I have gone for this marriage as it is in Derbyshire and they had no children so I thought as near to 1881 as possible. The name on the Census is Annie so it could quite easily be that she was know as that, but the marriage gives Mary Ann and the two alternative spellings of her surname. So the census shows Annie born about 1854 Solin, Isle of Man, which is correct, the marriage details have to be proven.
