  1. The original information for this Chart was given to me through Genes Reunited by a Susan WINSLOW on 6th October 2006
  2. 1871 Census - 170 Elwin Street, Bethnal Green, Hackney Road, London
  3. On Susan's chart she shown the wife of Joseph as Helen WEBSTER. On the BMD in June Quarter 1887 there is a marriage of a Joseph John ONIONS to a Helen WEBSTER, she shows the first child as being born in 1888 so I am certain this is the correct marriage. On the 1871 census Joseph's second name is shown as Robert not John and the marriage shows the surname as ONIONS not ONION but still certain this is correct. On the BMD the birth is down as Joseph John ONION
  4. 1891 Census - 10 Victoria Avenue, East Ham, London.  Emily WEBSTER, sister of Helen, was with the family on this Census, aged 12 born Shoreditch, London.
  5. 1901 Census - 18 Wakefield Street, East Ham, London.
  6. 1901 Census - District Royal Normal College and Academy of Music, Croydon, Surrey.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
