1901 Church House, Abinger, Surrey. (Martin, Hilda and Ernest are the next family to Hilda's father David ad family on the census and have the same address of Church House)
1911 I am certain that Martin and family went to Western Australia on the vessel "Rimutaka" departing from London and arriving in Albany on 8th January 1911, the GARMAN's are listed as follows: Martin, 44, Hilda 39, Ernest 19 and Lucy 8. The aged of Martin, Hilda and Ernest tie up with the information on the 1901 Census.
1916 Katanning, Swan, Western Australia, Australia. Listed at the same address as Martin and Hilda was Ernest, a Labourer (Australian Electoral Roll)
1925 Broome Street, Katanning, Forrest, Western Australia. With Martin and Hilda was Lucy Lillian Rose a Milliner, so I would think a daughter.

This is the last Electoral Roll that Hilda Alice appears.
1965 Death details, her parents are given correctly as David and Emily so confirming that this is the correct person.
Martin appears as a death in Katanning, Western Australia but no year is given.

  8. 1881 Ockley Green, Ockley, Surrey
1891 Stone Street, Ockley, Surrey. There was a visitor an Ann AYLING aged 24 a Farmers daughter born India.

1916 Hasting Lodge, Mullalyup, Nelson, Swan, Western Australia, Australia. With Charles William was his wife (Lucy Emily Bayley - this needs to be looked into as at this address is an Ada, whereas his brother Herbert Leonard is with Lucy Emily Bayley) . (Australian Electoral Roll)
On later Electoral Rolls they have the right wives so must have been an error on the Electoral Roll
1925 Coffee Palace, Jarrahwood, Sussex, Forrest, Western Australia, Australia. His wife Lucy Emily Bayley was with him. (Australian Electoral Roll)

1916 3 Bow River, Alberta Canada. There is a Cecil J OVERINGTON on this Census born England, married but not wife with him, born in 1880 which could be the correct Cecil.
There are deaths for Cecil James OVERINGTON and Grace OVERINGTON in British Columbia, Canada which agree with the birth years of Cecil and Grace, so I do believe that is where they died. Have found nothing else at present to support that they emigrated to Canada. (now found a Cecil J OVERINGTON in Albert in 1916 which supports the possiblity that he emigrated.
  10. 1881 Ockley Green, Ockley, Surrey

1909 On the BMD, two males and one female given, the female is a Ruth SWORDS but on the Canadian Soldiers of the First World War his wife is given as Minnie, so I do not know the surname of his wife.

1916 Fairlight, Mullalyup, Nelson, Swan, Western Australia, Australia at the same address is Lucy Emily Bayley OVERINGTON but she married Herbert's brother Charles and he the female who is with his is Ada, so it needs to be looked at. As they both came from Hastings and they are living at Hastings Lodge and Fairlight both places in Hastings Sussex England I am sure it is he correct people, just need to sort out there marriage relationships - it might clarify itself on later Electoral Rolls. (Australian Electoral Roll)
On later Electoral Rolls they have the right wives so must have been an error on the Electoral Roll
1925 Bunya St, Dalby, Maranoa, Queensland, Australia (Australian Electoral Roll)
1926 There is a death of a Theo Beatrice Ada OVERINGTON in September 1926 in Queensland with father as ??ber Leonard OVERINGTON and mother as Ada MORFEE who could be a child of this couple. The mothers maiden name does not tie up with the name given at death, if the death I have found is correct, but I do believe that this is a correct death and she was a child of this couple. (The Queensland BMD givens the father correctly as Herbert Leonard OVERINGTON.

I have now changed the Charts, so the main heading duplicates the name on the Chart ie OVERTUN, OVERTON, OVERINGTON etc - there are lots of variants. However all the link boxes are OVERTUN and the list in the Index are all spelt OVERTUN. This is so that all the names are in one position and in order in the contents list.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
