  1. IGI - Name from baptism of children. Marriage I think is correct, so shows the GRAVENER name but still have to find where the LARKINS fits in and of course we now have a second name TAUNTON which might be a surname somewhere.
IGI baptism shows parents at Allen PASCALL and Mary. The Batch number shows ten children with Allen and Mary PASCALL as parents.
  2. IGI - Name from baptism of children
IGI Baptism of Phoebe GRAVENER shows her parents as James and Sarah. There are four other children with James and Sarah as the parents in the same batch number and in the correct period, the eldest is Sarah baptised in 1732. So the only marriage in St Mary, Dover in that period is of a James GRAVENER to a Sarah BARBER on 12th July 1731, so would think this is the correct marriage.  I am  trying to find where the LARKINS and the TAUNTON names came into the family.
  3. IGI Baptism
  4. IGI Baptism
  5. 1851 Census - 14 Bulwark Street, Dover, Kent. Henry is a lodger with an Edward BIRCH and family, born in 1877 I would think the correct person
    IGI Baptism
  6. IGI Baptism. This shows that the name Gravener comes back through this line of the family.  This marriage is only a possiblity, the area is correct, she was named Sarah but is does not show the Gravener as William shows the Larkins and Elizabeth shows the Taunton, but as these two married a BROWN, I think it is possible that Sarah did as well.
Confirmation of marriage from Kent Parish and Probate records.
  7. I have found a little bit on Roots Web about Christian Larkins PASCALL, it would appear the family came from the Dover, Kent are, and it is likely that the mother of Christian Larkins PASCALL was Christian LARKINS born in 1762. Her father appears to have been William LARKINS and the mother Christian PASCALL, this gives us a problem as how did the Christian above get the PASCALL name, but I do think there is a connection as the names mentioned on Roots Webb also include GRAVENER which was the second name of the fourth child above. I have now found a Family Tree on Ancestry which confirms the Dover connection. However the parents are shown as Henry PASCALL born 1848 and Phoebe LARKINS born 1752.
  8. IGI Baptism

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
