Road, Hornsey, Middlesex. The child of John and Mary was not named on the 1901 Census but is just down as blank PEDLEY, the Census was taken on the 31st March 1901, so that would make ??? PEDLEY's birth date around 25th March 1901. I would think therefore that the birth would have been registered in the June quarter of 1901, there is only one PEDLEY child born in London in that quarter a John William PEDLEY born in Edmonton district. I am not entirely happy that this is the correct child as I did not think that Hornsey would come under the Edmonton district. If they managed to get the birth into the March quarter there is again just one child that would possibly fit and that is a Joseph Frederick PEDLEY born Mile End Old Town district, which I would think is more likely but again not what I would call Hornsey.
