1841 Shitterton, Bere Regis, Dorset 1851 West Street, Bere Regis, Dorset . Living next door to her grandmother and uncle 1861 54 West Street, Bere Regis, Dorset. Living in the same property were George RUTTER (72) Ag Lab born Bloxworth, Dorset and his wife Jane (62) born Bere Regis, Dorset 1871 West Street, Bere Regis Dorset 1881 Butt Lane, Bere Regis, Dorset 1861 1 Roke Farm, Bere Regis, Dorset. Sarah was a servant to a Thomas Edward DOWDEN a farmer and his family 1871 West Street, Bere Regis Dorset 1881 Butt Lane, Bere Regis, Dorset (we had born 1847 but Elizabeth definitely appears as 44 year old on the 1881 Census, four years older then Frederick. I cannot find an Elizabeth PITMAN born in Bere Regis in 1837 or 1847, the nearest is in 1855). We had not found on 1891 Census but there is an Elizabeth PHILLIPS born 1837 a widow on this Census. So I think the 1837 age is correct. 1891 West Street, Bere Regis, Dorset. Elizabeth is down as a Servant to a James BEVERCOMBE aged49 a Pork Butcher and Grocer born Bere Regis and his wife Ann aged 48 born Frampton, Dorset. Their niece was with them, a Alice GILLARD aged 13 a Scholar born Paddington, London. There was also a visitor an Annie ??? LANE, aged 18 (no other details given) occupation or place of birth. 1901 Dixon Arms, West Street, Bere Regis. Age not quite right, down as being 60 so born around 1841 not 1837 but I think it is the right person, she is still in West Street and she is a widow and has the same occupation as 1891., but she is a servant at an Inn with a James ARNOLD aged 78 as the Innkeeper, he was born Kingston, Dorset. 1871 West Street, Bere Regis Dorset 1881 Butt Lane, Bere Regis, Dorset 1891 Cardigan Rd, Holdenhurst, Hampshire 1901 51 Orchard Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, Hampshire 1911 Albert Cottage, Orchard Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, Hampshire 1871 West Street, Bere Regis Dorset 1881 Butt Lane, Bere Regis, Dorset 1891 Not found 1871 West Street, Bere Regis Dorset
