    I cannot find on 1901 oCensus but the IGI shows an Alice Eliza Blanch READER baptised 2nd August 1896 St Peter Kent with Albert Edward James READER as father and Alice Jane READER as mother and an Alfred Thomas READER baptised 25th September 1901 Minster, Kent again with Albert Edward READER as father and Alice Jane READER as mother. (there is a registration for her as Alice Eliza B READER born September quarter, Thanet district, Kent and for Alfred Thomas born September quarter 1901 Thanet district, Kent)
    1911 Reading Workhouse, Reading, Berkshire. She is down as having been married 16 years and having had 5 children 2 of whom survive and 3 of whom who have died and she is down as being born in Ramsgate, Kent. she is down as an Inmate so I assume it is the Reading Workhouse, although all of he people on the page in question are females. Having finally arrived at the first page and there are hundred of inmates, the males first, then the females, The Head os a Walter FRYER married Master of Workhouse, aged 50 born Southwell, Norfolk.
