Hannah WATTS was a House Servant with an Osbourn May age Farmer of 150 Acres employing 5 Labourers born Salcote, with his Wife Elizabeth, daughter Susannah and Sister Mary Ann. George RILEY aged 23 was also with the family as an Ag Labourer born Thoyden , Essex also a Isaac RILEY aged 25 an Ag Labourer also born Thoyden, Essex, Hannah and George married soon after. At the next property Boreham Wood, Thee was a William RILEY aged 28 an Ag Labourer born Thoyden Essex who was also a brother of George. He has a wife Sophia aged 25 born Wheater??, Essex and they have a daughter Sarah aged 10 months born Elstree, Hertfordshire. (by 1861 they had had five more children. Will put details on when I put on RILEY Chart 0500)

    1891 13 Alfred Street, Bermondsey, London. (birth places incorrect for George (Cambridge, Staffordshire?) and Sarah (London) but definitely correct family. Children Arthur R BARLOW Stepson aged 19 a Clerk born London, Stanley BARLOW Stepson aged 15 a Tobacco Spinner, then George W RILEY son aged 8 a Scholar born Bermondsey, London, James V RILEY son aged 6 a Scholar born Bermondsey, London and Hannah V aged 4 a scholar born Bermondsey, London.
    1901 13 Alfred Street, Bermondsey, London. This time George is down as being born in Boreham Wood, Hertfordshire and Sarah is down as being born in Cambridge. Children Stanley BARLOW Stepson aged 25 a Tobacco Packer down as being born in Clerkenwell, London, then George W RILEY son aged 18 a Clerk born Bermondsey, London, James F aged 16 a Card Cutter born Bermondsey, London and Hannah V aged 14 a Domestic born Bermondsey, London. In the same household but down as Head is a John R BARLOW a Widower aged 29 a General Labourer born Clerkenwell, London with a daughter a Jessie E BARLOW aged 5 months born Bermondsey, London. I would think he was also a son of Sarah's.
    1911 22 Fordel Road, Catford, Lewisham, London. Children James F aged 26, an Assistant Stock Keeper born Bermondsey, London and Hannah V aged 24 a Straw Hat Trimmer born Bermondsey, London. Also with them was a Stanley BARLOW a Stepson aged 34 a Shop Assistant born Clerkenwell, London. Sarah is down as having been married 30 years and having had four children three of whom survive and one who has died by the date of this Census.
