    1939 42 Cowfold Road, Brighton, Sussex (at present do not understand the entries on this Census - Cissie is down as Cissie HITCHINGS but above her name in Green Ink Cissie Nellie REENE has been entered and the birth date of 28th June 1899 ties up with what we have, she is No 2 on the list) So Charles HITCHINGS is No 1 he was born 26th December 1891 a Brickworks General Labourer, after Cissie there is Charles (Jun) HITCHINGS born 23rd August 1938 Under School Age and Ronald HITCHINGS born 5th September 1939 Under School Age (Note the last child Ronald HITCHINGS was born with mothers maiden name down as SHARP) (I would think that Frederick W C REENE was an unusual name, there was another marriage for a Frederick W C REENE in December quarter 1924 in Farnham district, Surrey to a Harriet E R BLACKBURN, however three children were born between 1926 and 1938 with REENE as surname and SHARP as the mothers maiden name
