I think Herbert applied for US Citizenship in Detroit USA. I cannot at present determine the date. It just says SIMMONS, Herbert Oliver 552 32692 PET 5-29-28 4.12.1884 BD The Birth Date being 12th April 1884 looks correct but cannot make anything of the other numbers.
I think Herbert married again, possibly to a Maud TAILOR. On the 1930 US Census there is a Herbert SIMMONS born in 1884 in England with a Maud SIMMONS his wife. They were lving at Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA, with Maud's father Leslie TAILOR aged 75 born in Canada.

Anna Winifred was a Visitor with a Nathaniel LYE aged 51 a Merchnat born Newcastle on Tyne, Northumberland, his wife Rosa aged 49 born Hoxton, London, Fanny DAVIS Sister-in-Law a Teacher born Hoxton, London. I would think Rosa and Fanny were sisters of Anna's mother.
I am told by Mary SIMMONS that Anna lived with her sister Constance in the Guildford district and that both were alive in the 1960's

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
