  1. 1841 Broad Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire. Again ages rounded up and down, Daniel and William are shown as the same age (20) so at present do not know if Daniel was born before William or after him, we appear to have a birth date for William.
1851 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire. (Note there is a family of SMITH's in premises next to Daniel. A Benjamin SMITH is the head, he is 47 with him is his sisters Rebecca aged 53 and Ann aged 51. Possibly siblings of Head of Household above William).
1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire. (Daniel is down as David on this Census)
  2. 1851 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
    1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
    1871 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire
1881 Red, White and Blue, Colne, Huntingdonshire
    1891 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire
    1901 Station Street, Chatteris, Cambridgeshire
  3. 1851 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
    1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
  4. 1851 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
    1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
  5. 1851 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire. (John on the 1851 Census but Frederick on this one and John is down as being 9 so born in 1852 so some confusion here.)
    1871 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire
1891 Station Lane, Chatteris, Huntingdonshire. Son, Arthur aged 11 a Scholar, born Colne, Huntingdonshire.
  6. 1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire. There was a John on the 1851 as one year old, on this Census it is Frederick who is 11 and John 9 so some confusion about these two children. As they have John down as an Ag Lab and Frederick with no occupation I think they have the children round the wrong way. (Whichever child - Note 5 or 6 was Frederick, he is down as blind on this Census
  7. 1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
    1871 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire
1881 Red, White and Blue, Colne, Huntingdonshire
1891 Main Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire. Three children on this Census, Fred 8, Sidney 6 and Walter 2 all born Somersham, Huntingdonshire.
  8. 1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
    1871 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire
    1891 General Hospital, Nottinghamshire.
    1901 Station Street, Chatteris, Cambridgeshire
  9. 1861 Main Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire.
    1871 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire
1881 Red, White and Blue, Colne, Huntingdonshire
  10. 1871 High Street, Colne, Huntingdonshire (There is a registration for a Julia SMITH in December quarter 1866, if I have the age correct from the Census this seems sometime after the birth)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
