  1. 1861 Cow Lane or Street, Lady St Mary Wareham, Dorset The ages of the children suggest that John was married previously
There was a John STICKLAND with wife Ann in Piddletrenthide in 1851 but no children were with them to give us a clue, therefore it is not certain that this was the right couple.
The only John STICKLAND/Ann marriage in Dorset was in the June quarter 1850 in the Dorchester District, Dorset. Ann was Ann PURCHAS but there was also an Anna FRAMPTON.
Emily Purchase STICKLAND registered December quarter 1852 Dorchester District, Dorset could be the right entry as the 1861 age was unclear.
Jane STICKLAND registered June quarter 1851 Dorchester District, Dorset, very close to the previous daughter.
George Henry STICKLAND registered September quarter 1857 Dorchester District, Dorset
The only Ann STICKLAND death in the Dorchester District, Dorset was in the December quarter 1858, the same quarter he married Theresa BROWN.
Because of the uncertainties in the above information details have not been entered for the various individuals concerned at present.
1871 Mill Lane, St Martin, Dorset

Edmund so this family has been entered accordingly.)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
