  1. 1871 Census - New Farm Buildings, Bere Regis, Dorset
1891 Census - Snowhill, Bere Regis, Dorset. (the two eldest children born before marriage of Henry and Ann so possibly that Ann had been married before.
1901 Census - Tolpuddle, Dorset (but Ann not with family - Henry is down as Harry, as married not widowed). Children Alice 18 born Bere Regis, Charles 11 born Bere Regis (it is these two children that make it the correct family from the 1891 Census) then there is Clara 9 born Bere Regis, Frederick 5 born Tolpuddle and Louisa 5 months born Tolpuddle.
  2. 1871 Census -  19 Shitterton, Bere Regis, Dorset - Ann was not listed as at home with her parents and siblings on the eve of the census. Instead, she appears at the household of her maternal grandfather, Isaac Gibbons who was 60 a Shepherd, born Bere Regis,  Dorset and his wife Ann, aged 55 also born Bere Regis, Dorset.
1891 Census - Snowhill, Bere Regis, Dorset. We had the marriage of Henry and Ann as being 25th June 1888 but I think this should be 1882, this is what shows in the BMD as June quarter 1882 and Alice and Frances are down as STROUD on this Census, so I would think they were the children of Henry and Ann and therefore the marriage in 1882 would be correct. Ann is down as Annie on the BMD.
    1901 Census -
1901 Census - High Street, Shapwick, Dorset. (not with the rest of her family) Annie was with her brother George and his wife at this address. She is down as daughter, there is also Dorothy, niece with her. This gives us another child and the address of George her brother on the 1901 Census and the fact that he had married.
  3. 1891 Census - Snowhill, Bere Regis, Dorset.
    1901 Census - Tolpuddle, Dorset
  4. 1891 Census - Snowhill, Bere Regis, Dorset.
  5. 1891 Census - Snowhill, Bere Regis, Dorset.
    1901 Census - Tolpuddle, Dorset
  6. 1901 Census - Tolpuddle, Dorset
  7. 1901 Census - Tolpuddle, Dorset
  8. 1901 Census - High Street, Shapwick, Dorset.
  9. 1901 Census - Tolpuddle, Dorset

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
