  1. 1851 UK Census - 32 George Street, Somers Town, St Pancras, Middlesex.
  2. 1841 Census - Drummond Street, Somers Town, St Pancras, Middlesex. With the names from the 1851 Census it enabled me to find the family on the Census. They are down as LAPTON. Thomas is with the family on this Census.
  3. 1861 Census - 121 ??? Street, Regent, St Pancras, Middlesex. (no name of road on the page of census). Richard was a lodger with a James TIFFIN and family. I believe the wife of James, although down as Elizabeth which was her second name was his sister.
  4. 1881 Census - 18 Gairford Street, Kentish Town, St Pancras, Middlesex. Mary's mother Mary was with Mary and her daughter
  5. 1901 Census - 90 Fortess Road, St Pancras, Middlesex. Agnes was head of household, her mother Mary was with her. There was a visitor and a servant
  6. 1871 Census - 28 Barker Road?, Kentish Town, St Pancras, Middlesex. Ancestry.com has the family down as SEFFON. There were two boarder and also a Bertha LUPTON, niece aged 11 born St Pancras, Middlesex and a Servant.
  7. Still to find Agnes and Mary on the 1891 Census.
  8. IGI Baptism and birth date.
  9. The death of James TIFFIN matches the birth date of 1818 and I was expecting to find his death between 1871 and 1881 as his wife was a widow on the 1881 Census. The name is given as James Benjamin TIFFIN, and we have him down because of the Censuses as being born in Holborn. This made me recollect that I had seen a James Benjamin TIFFIN on the IGI. There is in fact a birth, baptism and marriage. The problem I have is that the marriage on the IGI, in 1852 and in St Pancras as I would expect it to be is down as being to a Sarah JENKINS or LARARD, the fact that there is a query over the name, makes me think that this is the correct marriage and I have put the date and the place of marriage in. It is in fact the same church that Mary Elizabeth LUPTON was baptised in, making it another pointer to being the correct one. I have also put the IGI details for the birth and baptism of James Benjamin TIFFIN. I have left the BMD details in as they show the marriage of James TIFFIN to Mary Elizabeth LUPTON. The parents of James Benjamin TIFFIN are down as Charles TIFFIN and Mary. Then having looked at the Batch Number on the IGI we find that James Benjamin TIFFIN had at least one sibling, as the details are there for a Henry TIFFIN - Birth: 24 JUL 1820 , Christening: 20 AUG 1820 Saint Andrew, Holborn, London.
  10. Having now found the marriage on the London Marriages on Ancestry.com it appears that James Benjamin TIFFIN did not marry Mary Elizabeth LUPTON but Sarah JENKINS, but her father is down as Thomas LARARD even if this was meant to be LUPTON the first name Thomas is incorrect as Mary's father was George, and Thomas is down as a Jeweller not a Builder, House Decorator etc. At present do not know therefore who or if Mary Elizabeth LUPTON married, I have left the chart on for the present time as this was information given to me.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
