  1. Father – Benjamin TINGLEY – Victualler 1864 (at birth of Jane TINGLEY – Carpenter) Mother – Julia Elizabeth MATTHEW?
  2. 1881 Census - 2 Colan Row, Streatham, Surrey
  3. 1901 Census - 1901 Tankerton Kings Road, Clapham
  4. I have not viewed the actual image of Jane Dackombe but there are apparently another 15 people in the household at Kings Road, Clapham
  5. 1871 Census - 66 Park Terrace, Clapham, Surrey
  6. 1872 34 Old Town, Clapham, Surrey
  7. 1861 Census - "Royal Oak" London Road, Clapham, Surrey. I believe this is the family of Jane TINGLEY, she is on this Census as aged 17 (so birth date of around 1843 correct and her father is a Benjamin and down as a Victualler (as per note 1) BUT the wife of Benjamin on this census is an Emma not a Julia as in Note 1 (I would think that the answer to this is that it is  Benjamin's second marriage as their is a death of a Julia Elizabeth TINGLEY in the September quarter of 1849 in the Southwark area, this would make Jane's mother correct Julia Elizabeth MATTHEW, he appears to have married Julia in the March quarter of 1842, there is then a marriage of a Benjamin TINGLEY in the December quarter of 1849 and is there is a female with the name of Emma ALISON in the Wandsworth district of Surrey on this Census.). There was a Servant a Charlotte STILLWELL aged 19 born Lambeth, Surrey with the family.
  8. 1851 Census - 3 Cornwall Place, Clapham, Surrey. There was a Anne ALLISON, a visitor aged 26 a Dressmaker, born Croydon, Surrey (? sister of Emma)
  9. 1871 "Bell Inn" Sydenham, Lewisham, Kent. It is possible that Bertha (Rosetta) are two children. I will try and look further into this. There was a Mary LAMBOURNE, Aunt aged 64 a Servant born Warlingham, Surrey and a Richard LAMBOURNE, Uncle a Servant aged 67 born Cowes, Isle of Wight with the family.
  10. There are families for several of these children to be found on the various censuses but other than the marriage of Jane TINGLEY to Richard DACKOMBE they are outside the area of my research

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
