1827 IGI Baptism 1836 The three children are shown on a record on Ancestry.com as being registered on 31st December 1836 by a J E SIMMONS Protestant Deputy Minister on the England and Wales Non-Conformist and Non-Parochial Registers 1567-1970 - RG4 Registers of Births, Marriages and Deaths - Huntingdonshire - Baptist - Piece 626 Bluntisham (Baptist) 1788-1837. Birth dates are given for each of the children. They are hand written and read as follows: Frederick (entry 999) Jane (entry 1000) and John (entry 1001) the son (daughter) of John Webb and of Sarah his wife was born (then relevant birth date) in the Parish of Bluntisham in the County of Huntingdon and registered by me Dec 21st 1836 - J. E SIMMONS Protestant Deputy Minister. 1841 Bluntisham, Huntingdonshire. 1851 Toy Cottage, Kings Road, Fulham, London John was a servant to a Jane COX a Mother Widow aged 67 a Landed Proprietor born Ireland. There were 3 servants with her. 1852 Fulham, Middlesex (at marriage) 1853 57 Lanchester? Mews, Paddington, London (baptism of Emily) 1855 Clifton Mews, Westminster, London (baptism of Sarah Jane) 1861 17 George Yard, Marylebone, Middlesex. John is down as married but wife not with him) With the family was a Jane BENNIE? a Visitor aged 6 a Scholar born Edinburgh, Scotland and a George BENNIE a visitor aged 8 a Scholar born Glasgow, Scotland 1841 New Park Road, Streatham, Surrey. Father James ALFORD aged 40 a Shoe Maker born Surrey, Mother Mary aged 40 not born in Surrey, Siblings Mary aged 13 and Sarah aged 11 both born in Surrey 1851 Not found 1852 Fulham, Middlesex (at marriage) - Father James ALFORD - Shoemaker 1853 57 Lanchester? John is down as married but wife not with him) With the family was a Jane BENNIE? a Visitor aged 6 a Scholar born Edinburgh, Scotland and a George BENNIE a visitor aged 8 a Scholar born Glasgow, Scotland (Her Christian name looks like Emily but could be something else as her sister is also down as Emily and her name definitely looks like Emily, her mother was Emily. However I have now found what I believe is her baptism and I think she was really Sarah Jane and the enumerator must have made a mistake when putting her down on the Census.
