    1871 Census - 5 Dean Street, Great Crosby, Lancashire. A Lodger with Thomas BREW and his wife Ann. There were seven other lodgers.
    1881 Census - 21 Canning Street, Great Crosby, Lancashire, with a Betty CARR aged 80 an Annuitant born Idle, Yorkshire, also with the family was Sarah Jane ILLINGWORTH a niece aged 52 a Cloth Manufacturers daughter born Idle, Yorkshire,  Rachel WEBSTER down as a Great Niece, aged 13 a Scholar, born Waterloo, Lancashire.
