  1. 1726 Marriage Licence shows the name as WHEATON. The 1726 Marriage register entry shows the name as WHEATLEY.
1746 Marriage Register entry shows the name as WHEATLEY.
1754 - Will - Thomas WHEATON, shepherd, Hilton, Huntingdonshire. Items left to daughters Ann BRACE and Elizabeth WHEATON, wife Elizabeth WHEATON and son William WHEATON.
1728- Will -  Richard SPARROW, gent, Hilton, Huntingdonshire. Property left to Ann, wife of Thomas WHEATON, shepherd. Ann WHEATON inherited from Richard SPARROW "my cottage or tenement situate and being in Hilton, together with the Close of pasture grounds and orchard near hereunto adjoining with all and singular Commons and appurtenances belonging to the late J Gore(?) and now in the occupation of Thomas WHEATON". From the information we have so far collected we are assuming Ann was Richard's granddaughter, the daughter of his natural son, William.
  2. 1728- Will -  Richard SPARROW, gent, Hilton, Huntingdonshire.
  3. 1754 - Will - Thomas WHEATON, shepherd, Hilton, Huntingdonshire. Items left to daughters Ann BRACE and Elizabeth WHEATON, wife Elizabeth WHEATON and son William WHEATON.
  4. 1754 - Will - Thomas WHEATON, shepherd, Hilton, Huntingdonshire. Items left to daughters Ann BRACE and Elizabeth WHEATON, wife Elizabeth WHEATON and son William WHEATON.
  5. 1754 - Will - Thomas WHEATON, shepherd, Hilton, Huntingdonshire. Items left to daughters Ann BRACE and Elizabeth WHEATON, wife Elizabeth WHEATON and son William WHEATON.
  6.
  7. 1754 - Will - Thomas WHEATON, shepherd, Hilton, Huntingdonshire. Items left to daughters Ann BRACE and Elizabeth WHEATON, wife Elizabeth WHEATON and son William WHEATON.
    1758 Pidley-cum-Fenton, Huntingdonshire
As there appears to be only one WHEATON family in Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire at this time it has been assumed that William was married twice. Further investigations are planned.
  8. On the 1st January 2014 we added Angel as a child of this family, our reasoning for doing this is as follows:
My sister writes (the wife of Dennis WHEATON on WHEATON Chart 0200)
The DNA of Dennis WHEATON (WHEATON 0200), a descendant of Thomas WHEATON and Ann SPARROW matches the DNA of a descendant of Angel’s (WHEATON 0337)....so they must have a common ancestor
.......The earliest information we have for Angel is the baptism of his son (another Angel) in 1764.
.......I therefore made Angel senior’s birth about 1739 but that is purely an approximation, he could have been born earlier.
.......There is no other information (marriage or deaths) for Angel senior and his wife Elizabeth
.......This is the reason that I think it probable that Angel was the same man as William born 1732, son of Thomas WHEATON and Ann SPARROW         (WHEATON 0900)
.......We have a marriage for this William, and deaths for both him and his wife Elizabeth (WHEATON 0800)
.......However, without evidence I don’t think they can be merged
.......But given the dates and location and the fact that there are no other WHEATON families in Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire at this time....
.......I think that even if William and Angel are not the same man, Angel must be a son of Thomas WHEATON and Ann SPARROW
......Therefore, in my file, I have added Angel to the family of Thomas WHEATON and Ann SPARROW making him child number five.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
