  1. 1841 Census - Mallory Yard, Henham Village, Essex.
1851 Census - Henham Village - Peter was with his mother a Mary YARROW, aged 53 a Pauper, Ag Lab's wife, although she is down as a Widow, she was born in Henham, Essex, Peter also has a brother Joseph aged 15 also an Ag Lab born Henham, Essex, living with him and his mother. The interesting thing about this is that either in the same property or next door is a James YARROW and family who can be found on YARROW Chart 0700. As yet I cannot make a connection between the two YARROW families. A search of the 1841 Census might give the answer to whether the unknown husband of Mary and James YARROW were brothers.
1861 Census - Little Chesterford, Essex - (We had the father and mother of Alice, and although the fathers information is correct to birth place and year of birth her mothers information is not. The 1861 Census shows an Ellen born about 38. The information we have is for an Emma born 1848, as this would have meant that Alice would have been born when Emma was 10 I do not think that the Emma we had was Alice's mother. Possibly the Ellen on the 1861 Census died and he married an Emma who was a lot younger than his first wife. This might show up in later Censuses.
1871 Census -  Chickory Wood, Henham, Essex - Ancestry.com has the family down as Yavion, but very clear at Yarrow on the Census. They are back in Henham, Essex. Peters wife is now indeed Emma not Ellen and there is a large gap between the age of the first children and the last two, so I have put two marriages on the chart above with the last two children as Emma's and the others as Ellen's
1881 Census - Henham Village, Henham, Essex. Mary YARROW, the mother of Peter is with the family on this Census. There is a John YARROW aged 11 on this Census. this is the same age as the Thomas on the 1871 Census, so have not put on a new child, but put (John) underneath Thomas.
1891 Census - Lodge Gate, Henham, Essex. (There is a Rachel YARROW at the same address, a widow, aged 29 with a son Frederick, age 4). It would appear that Alice went to the US without her parents. This substantiates my thinking that there is a connection between the James YARROW on YARROW Chart 0700.
1901 Census - Yarrow Hall, Henham, Essex
1911 Yarrow Hall Henham Stansted Essex. With the family was a Thomas DUFFIELD Grandson aged 13 Working on Farm born Hiborough, Norfolk
Birth and baptism details taken from the IGI. Father is down as being a Thomas YARROW, mother a Mary. (see note 2, the mother of Thomas is a Mary)
  2. 1861 Census - Little Chesterford, Essex - (We had the father and mother of Alice, and although the fathers information is correct to birth place and year of birth her mothers information is not.
  3. 1871 Census -  Chickory Wood, Henham, Essex - Ancestry.com has the family down as Yavion, but very clear at Yarrow on the Census.

1901 Census - Yarrow Hall, Henham, Essex
1911 Yarrow Hall Henham Stansted Essex. With the family was a Thomas DUFFIELD Grandson aged 13 Working on Farm born Hiborough, Norfolk
  4. 1861 Census - Little Chesterford, Essex - (We had the father and mother of Alice, and although the fathers information is correct to birth place and year of birth her mothers information is not. The 1861 Census shows an Ellen born about 38. 5. 1861 Census - Malting, House, Little Chesterford, Essex - (We had the father and mother of Alice, and although the fathers information is correct to birth place and year of birth her mothers information is not. The 1861 Census shows an Ellen born about 38. The information we have is for an Emma born 1848, as this would have meant that Alice would have been born when Emma was 10 I do not think that the Emma we had was Alice's mother. 1881 Census - 10 Belgrave Rd, Hampstead, London, - Alice was still in the UK on the 1881 Census, although she married in the US in 1884. Her sister Martha was at the same address on this Census.
  6. 1861 Census - Little Chesterford, Essex - (We had the father and mother of Alice, and although the fathers information is correct to birth place and year of birth her mothers information is not. The 1861 Census shows an Ellen born about 38. The information we have is for an Emma born 1848, as this would have meant that Alice would have been born when Emma was 10 I do not think that the Emma we had was Alice's mother. 1881 Census - 8 Moselle Street, Tottenham, London.
1891 Census - 32 Cunningham Road, Tottenham, London.
    Information for Betsey BUSH
1871 Census - Fields, Little Henham, Essex.
1901 Census - 32 Cunningham Street, Tottenham, London.
  7. 1871 Census - Dewes Green, Berden, Essex. I think Esther belongs to this family, she was living with her Aunt and Uncle, William STONES and Elizabeth STONES née YARROW on this Census. This of course could be incorrect, but I think as she was born in Chesterford, this is the most likely family that she belonged to.
1881 Census - Village Green Shop, Berden, Essex.
1891 Census - Faunerdale Grove, Saffron Walden, Essex
  8. 1871 Census -  Chickory Wood, Henham, Essex - Ancestry.com has the family down as Yavion, but very clear at Yarrow on the Census. They are back in Henham, Essex. Peters wife is now indeed Emma not Ellen and there is a large gap between the age of the first children and the last two, so I have put two marriages on the chart above with the last two children as Emma's and the others as Ellen's
This is a new addition, I had thought that Thomas and John were the same child, but now having looked at the baptisms on  http://www.henhamhistory.org I have decided that there were two children, Thomas appears on the 1871 Census, John on the 1881. Thomas appears to have died in 1877.
  9. 1871 Census -  Chickory Wood, Henham, Essex - Ancestry.com has the family down as Yavion, but very clear at Yarrow on the Census. They are back in Henham, Essex. Peters wife is now indeed Emma not Ellen and there is a large gap between the age of the first children and the last two, so I have put two marriages on the chart above with the last two children as Emma's and the others as Ellen's
1881 Census - 10 Belgrave Rd, Hampstead, London, - Alice was still in the UK on the 1881 Census, although she married in the US in 1884. Her sister Martha was at the same address on this Census.
1891 Census - 136 Queens Road, South Hornsey, Middlesex. Martha was a Servant to a Frederick PRIME, a provision merchant, and his family
1901 Not looked for at present.
1911 Hilborough S O Norfolk. Children with them all born Hilborough, Norfolk were Eva aged 14, Jessie aged 10, John aged 9, Ella aged 7 and Edwin aged 4. (There was another son Thomas aged 13 also born Hilborough, Norfolk with his Grandparents - see 1911 Note 1)
  10. 1881 Census - Henham Village, Henham, Essex. Mary YARROW, the mother of Peter is with the family on this Census. There is a John YARROW aged 11 on this Census. this is the same age as the Thomas on the 1871 Census, so have not put on a new child, but put (John) underneath Thomas.
Having been directed to  http://www.henhamhistory.org where baptisms are listed I now think that John and Thomas were two different children so have added John to the birth above. This means that Thomas appears on the 1871 and John on the 1881 but they do not appear on both.
  11. 1881 Census - Henham Village, Henham, Essex. Mary YARROW, the mother of Peter is with the family on this Census. There is a John YARROW aged 11 on this Census. this is the same age as the Thomas on the 1871 Census, so have not put on a new child, but put (John) underneath Thomas.
On the http://www.henhamhistory.org  web site this child appears as Margaret, on the 1881 Census and the BMD it is Mary Ann
  12. Baptism on the http://www.henhamhistory.org. web site. An extra child, not found on a Census.
  13. 1881 Census - Henham Village, Henham, Essex.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
