1930; Census Place: Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California; Roll: 134; Page: 6B; Enumeration District: 68; Image: 624.0. There is a Sterling YOUNG down as being 19 but as an adopted son to a Lawrence and Frances MOTT who could be this child. He is down as being born in Oregon, whereas we know he was born in South Dakota, but through adoption the place of birth might have not been correct. He is down as being a Musician, as I am not certain this is the correct person have not added to the above chart. It would appear from the other children that Christopher the father also died, possibly before 1920.
1943 - 22nd August - Sterling Christopher YOUNG crossed into Canada at Niagara Falls. Shows his birth as 1st April 1909 not as 9th as we have it above.
  4.

Living in Lincoln, Perkins County, South Dakota in 1920. Down as a friend with a family called Johnston. With the family was Daniel S JOHNSTON aged 2 years 8 months, down as adopted which ties up with the information for Daniel in note 4 except for the age.
  6. 1920 Us Census - Census Place: Lincoln, Perkins, South Dakota; Roll: T625_1725; Page: 4A; Enumeration District: 180; Image: 512.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
