    1891 Not found at present
1901 56 Plains of Waterloo, Ramsgate, Kent. Fanny J was the head, down as being born St Ives Huntingdonshire. With her is her mother Jane BROWN a widow aged 63 born Somersham Huntingdonshire with the is a Walter H URRY a Nephew aged 5 born Middlesex, London. (I looked fo Walter URRY on the 1911 Census as I felt one of the family must have married an URRY for him to be down as a Nephew, although finding him at Queen Mary's Hospital For Children Late Children's Infirmary, Stanley Park Road, Carshalton, Surrey as a Patient and down as a Newspaper Boy this does not give us any clue to his parents. However looking for a Walter URRY I have found a baptism on 15th March 1896 at St Mary, Paddington, London for a Walter Herbert URRY born on 17th February 1896 to a Walter Alfred URRY and a Flora Mabel URRY. The father was a Tailor and they were living at 10 Sale Street?, Praed Court? Paddington, London. So certain I have found the correct connection.) There were four visitors with the family a Florence A WALKER a Widow aged 40 Living on own means born Middlesex, London, a Rosa A WRIGHT a Widow aged 53 Living on Own Mean born Middlesex, London, a Sophia C CHRISTMAS a widow, aged 47 Living on own means born Middlesex, London and a Mabel S CHRISTMAS single, aged 16 Living on own means born Middlesex, London.

Fanny Jane was the Head, with her was her mother Jane BROWN aged 71 born Somersham, Huntingdonshire and Ada BROWN sister Single aged 46 born Ramsey, Huntingdonshire. There were the following boarders with the family a Mary CHAPMAN aged 29 a Children's Nurse born Dundee, Evelyn CLAY aged 4 born London, Charles CLAY aged 1 born Burton on Kent and Anei BANGS Single aged 18 a Nursery Maid born Pound?
  3. 1867 Clarendon Street, Paddington, London (baptisms of Arthur William, Ada and Fanny Jane)
There is a baptism as shown above for an Arthur William BROWN with Daniel and Jane as parents, as it is at the same time as Ada and Fanny and the address given is the same and the occupation of Daniel is given as a Tailor I am sure he is a child of this couple but at present this is the only place he appears. No birth dates are given on the baptisms but as Daniel and Jane married in 1862 and he birth for Ada was in 1865 I would think Arthur was the eldest, he is also the first one to be listed of the three baptisms. I assume that having moved to Paddington that they should have the first three children baptised so again I assume that Arthur William was born in Ramsey, Huntingdonshire. Will try to find on BMD etc.

1881 17 Clarendon Street, Paddington, London.

When I started this chart on the morning of 16th October 2011 I had very little information. The only child I could find was Daniel Burton, I have now found three other children, two still single on the 1911 Census and one who had married and died. I am sure with more investigation I will find details for some of the other children on the Chart above.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
