Family History, Bucknell Chart 0400 Charles Bucknell and Ann Elizabeth Powell

1861 Census - 1 York Place, Westminster, Middlesex Living with James and Harriet POWELL and family, and Peter and Harriet OTTLEY and family. It is possible that Charles BUCKNELL married again, there is a marriage in BMD of Charles BUCKNELL/BUCKWELL, March quarter of 1869, in Westminster to a Mary FITZGERALD or a Ruth BARFF, I cannot find family on the 1871 Census. 1841 6 Greencoat Cottages, Westminster, Middlesex 1851 45 Artillery Row, St John the Evangelist, Westminster, Middlesex. Servant to James BUGBEE (29) Carman and Contractor born Westminster, Middlesex, his wife Cathl (25) born Harrow, Middlesex and daughter Rebecca (5 months) born Westminster, Middlesex. Another servant was Nurse Isabella WOOLF (15) born Westminster, Middlesex 1861 1 York Place, Westminster, Middlesex Living with James and Harriet POWELL and family, and Peter and Harriet OTTLEY and family. 1871 Census. 88 Lambsbound? Street, St Andrew, Holborn, Finsbury, Middlesex. I have found a family a Rebecca DEAN Widow, who I am certain is the correct family as living with them is a Harriet BICKNELL aged 17 niece which again I am certain is the Harriet BUCKNELL on this chart, she would have been born in 1874 and also she was born in Westminster. I have therefore made the necessary corrections to this chart and added a new one for the family of Rebecca DEAN 1881 156 Hanbury Street, Mile End Old Town, Middlesex 1891 Not found As the two children are in Boarding Schools in 1891 perhaps George and Harriet had died. There are two possible George Deaths where the age at death corresponds with his birth years and they are in the Islington District - October-December 1887 Age 36 for a George Austen, and January-March 1891 Age 40 for a George. The only possible Harriet death was in the March 1886 in the Lewisham District of Kent Age 33. I have found a Charles BICKNELL which I think is the correct person on the 1871 Census at the Henry Edward School for Boys at Godalming Surrey, he was 14 and born in Westminster, Middlesex. All the pupils are down as Inmates. 1881 9 Kemp Town Mews, Brighton, Sussex as a Boarder with Eliza VIDOW, Coachman’s wife (26) and her daughter Louie (1) and son Edward (4 months.)
