The census says that there wre 9 children, two survive and seven have died.
    Marriage Notes for Matthew POWELL and Caroline SANDFORD:
    Matthew John POWELL gives his fatherís name as William James POWELL, Labourer deceased. His fatherís name was actually James, and his brother, who was a witness, was William James. Although there is this discrepancy we believe that this is the correct Matthew John POWELL.
