Harry's "birthplace is indicated to be 'Cobb's Cottage' and - believe it or not, the new owners of the cottage where he died, on Kingston Common, Ringwood, Hants, have renamed it 'Cobb's Cottage'. The new owner told me that she had called it such in memory of the 'Cobbs' who had lived there. It is now a 'Dog Sanctuary'."
"The reference to 'Mycroft' 182 Southampton Road, (Poulner) Ringwood, comes up a lot in the family tree. My grandfather, Harry, as above, built the house in about 1897, my father was born and died there and my sister and myself were both born there. The house was sold 'out of the family' when my mother died about six years ago."
