They had a servant a Augustus F WALKER aged 40 a Potman, born St Saviour, Southwark 1891 227/229 Rotherhithe New Road, Rotherhithe, Surrey. His sister Maud Mary GLOVER was with him on this Census, she was down as a Barmaid. There was also a George UNWIN, aged 27 a Barman, born in Camberwell and Sarah Jones a widow aged 32 who was a General Servant with the family. 1895 229 Rotherhithe New Road, Rotherhithe, Southwark, London (address at school admission of daughter) 1901 232 Rotherhithe New Road, Rotherhithe, Surrey 1911 42 Tressillian Road Brockley S E. They had a servant an Elizabeth Alice ROBINS aged 22 born Greenwich, London 1914 42 Tressillian Road, Brockley, London (London Electoral Roll) - Address given but also at 229 Rotherhithe New Road, Rotherhithe, London with brother Edwin Thomas. 1915 42 Tressillian Road, Brockley, Rotherhithe, Southwark, London (London Electoral Roll) 1918 Halfway House Rotherhithe Surrey and of 222 New Cross-road New Cross Kent (address given at probate) 1891 227/229 Rotherhithe New Road, Rotherhithe, Surrey. His sister Maud Mary GLOVER was with him on this Census, she was down as a Barmaid. There was also a George UNWIN, aged 27 a Barman, born in Camberwell and Sarah Jones a widow aged 32 who was a General Servant with the family. 1901 232 Rotherhithe New Road, Rotherhithe, Surrey 1911 42 Tressillian Road Brockley S E. They had a servant an Elizabeth Alice ROBINS aged 22 born Greenwich, London. Kate is down as having had one child who survives at the date of this Census. 1891 227/229 Rotherhithe New Road, Rotherhithe, Surrey. His sister Maud Mary GLOVER was with him on this Census, she was down as a Barmaid. Walter HARBROW born 2nd May 1887 Builder and Contractor (own account), Kate HARBROW born 6th August 1890 Unpaid Household Duties, Joan K HARBROW (later GILBERT-LODGE) born 4th April 1914 Unpaid Domestic Duties, Barbara HARBROW born 5th February 1918 Massage (CSMMG) Then two records officially closed. 1962 34 Evelyn Drive, Hatch End, Middlesex (address given at probate) On a letter from Elsie COWDELL née POLTON to her sister in 1968 she states that cousin Kate had died about 3 years ago, she had married and had three daughters all of who had married. Having just found this Kate on the census on Monday 2nd August 1999, I am hopeful that this is the same Kate as she mentions. On 25th April 2010 I found the marriage of Kate GLOVER to Walter HARBROW and indeed they had three daughters, so details on the letter from Elsie to Maud in Newfoundland appear to be correct and relate to this Kate. She was a little bit out on her death as it would appear that Kate died in 1962, not 1965 as the letter seems to suggest.
