In 1933 both Amos and Elizabeth were concerned about her health. She had a Miss E GARRETT to help her. Amos said it was her "ruhmaticks" which were bothering her. She sat out on the porch most days as the wind was too much for her to be in the garden. However, she showed great concern about the condition of the poor in Victoria where "the churches are pleading for clothes for destitute families"
In 1933 and 1936 Eliz. L GARRETT, School Teacher lived at 1737, Hampshire, British Columbia, Canada probably with her parents.

In 1877 there is an Elizabeth HARTTREE marriage to a George GARNER and in 1881 they are living at Hyde Park Hall, Marylebone St Mary, Middlesex
There is no trace of them in English records after this date.
However, a George and Elizabeth GARNER travel to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on the “Polynesian” arriving in 1882. On the same ship was Amos COBB.
We were given the name of the wife of Amos as Elizabeth HARTTREE but a marriage has not been found.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
