    Julie Jeffries writes about the possiblity of Frederick going to the US as follows
    There is a possible Derbyshire article dated 13 June 1894 announcing the sad death of Mr Fred W Jeffries former butcher of Curzon Street on 25th April. Jeffries with other young men went out in search of land in the direction of Chiawal River America and returned by the upper ford, whilst crossing the ford his horse lost its footing and fell over.

Kate is down as having been married 21 years and having had four children two of whom survive and two of whom have died at the date of this Census.
