They had a son George E SHELLEY aged 3 months born Derby, Derbyshire. 1901 Not found at present 1911 164 Clarence Road, Derby, Derbyshire. Sarah was a widow having been married 29 years and having had four children three of whom survive and one of whom had died. Children with her were George Ernest aged 20 Single a Baker and Confectioner and Stanley Arnold aged 17 an Errand Boy, Grocery both born Derby, Derbyshire. 1891 31 Madeley Street, Litchurch, Derbyshire. They had a son George E SHELLEY aged 3 months born Derby, Derbyshire. 1901 Not found at present 1911 164 Clarence Road, Derby, Derbyshire. Information for Ada Elizabeth WATHALL 1911 70 Sherwood Street, Derby, Derbyshire. Ada Elizabeth's mother is down as Annie aged 39 married for 21 years and having six children, five of whom survive and one who has died. However the census was signed by a Herbert WATHALL, so was this her husband and he did not put his details on the Census. There is a son Herbert aged 14 an Errand Boy born Derby, Derbyshire but the writing on the Census looks too old for him. Other children were Emma Mary WATHALL aged 17 a Weaver, William Henry WATHALL aged 12 School and Nellie WATHALL aged 10 School, all born Derby, Derbyshire. 1911 164 Clarence Road, Derby, Derbyshire. Julie Jeffries writes about the Missing Children (two) as follows: MISSING CHILDREN child not Kathleen, not Eva Winifred, not Amy, not Ada not Florence- claimed by other parents. deceased child either John 1883-1883 or Daisy Edith 1887-1888 living child Annie born 1883 or Violet Hilda born 1892 Violet Hilda 1892 marries Hubert Richards in Derby in 1923 need to check 1901 census to confirm living child Violet Shelley 1895 Staffordshire with George as parent in Staffordshire there is an Annie Shelley born 1883 Derby living Lincolnshire, I have at present not confirmed any of these as actually being the children of George and Sarah on the above chart - at present cannot find Violet or Annie on the 1891 Census or Sarah, George or Stanley above.
