Patent Wood and Maker are quite clear the Fire is of that length and appears to start with an F, but I cannot think of another word that would fit this.

    1901 Census - I am certain I have the right family for this Census, but they are down as MILLS and this is what it looks like on the Census. Emily was a widow and living 390 Hornsey Road, Holloway, Islington, Middlesex. She is down as a Wardrobe Dealer. Her children all match the 1891 Census except that Emily M MILES her daughter is down as Maud. As the ages and names are right for Emily and her four children other than what I suspect is the use of the second name of her daughter I am convinced this is the correct family.
